(2007)
A Spey Gathering of more than 100 very interested fly fishers on the Grand River in Southern Ontario took in many hours of casting demonstrations from our own well known Spey Caster Courtney Ogilvie , and Loomis' Neil Holding.  A complete range of Two Handers from Snowbee, Beulah, Loomis, Guideline,Sage,Winston , Scott and a few others was on hand for all to play with. The hit of the day was actually the Snowbee 13'  8/9 wt.Two Handed rod lined up with a 9/10 Snowbee Scandanavian Short Head shooting line and a Snowbee Salmon running line. Tightest loops, easiest to learn on and hard to get your hands on... The North American unveiling of the new Snowbee 15'  6pc 10 wt. Two hander was somewhat anti-climatic with all the hooplah going on with that lovely Blue line going out to distances most casters only dream of!
Since 2005 this Gathering has grown to more than 240 participants and spectators where in 2010 we had 8 presentators including Courtney Ogilvie (Snowbee and Beulah), Neil Holding,&Peter Charles (Guideline), Scott Mackenzie (DTX Rods), Francois Blanchet (Loop), Casters from Sage,Loomis,Winston,Scott.
A great time was had by all and this year the water levels co-operated,as did the weather
